Here is an update on Spencer, he is currently in Indio, where he celebrated his 20th birthday. His companion Elder Carter had his birthday just a few hours after Spencer. They were treated to cakes by a family in the ward where they are serving. April 1st for Spencer, and April 2nd for Elder Carter. I'm so grateful for families that care for the missionaries!
Transfers are coming up next week so we are wondering of course if he will be transferred. He is currently in a bike area and the temps are already over 100 degrees. He says that the heat doesn't bother him though. They have had a fairly steady teaching pool, and of course lots of people who don't follow through.
I love the members who take care of their missionaries! And a happy belated b-day to Spencer (and his comp).
ReplyDeleteI love that other areas are still able to feed the missionaries regularly. Wish we could more. That's funny and convenient that their birthdays were so close. Ryan's transfers are next week too. Great to see the update. Thanks for sharing.
